Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology (MTC) at Karolinska Institutet conducts research and teaching in immunology, infection biology, cell biology and cancer. MTC has about 430 active employees, including 100 PhD students, 50 postdoctoral researchers and 26 professors. Key words are multidisciplinary, bridging, translational, national and international collaborations. MTC has recently moved to Biomedicum, a new premises offering exciting scientific opportunities

Entry requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and independent postdoctoral researcher with a solid background in B cell immunology, cell biology and molecular biology. The candidate should be well familiar with standard techniques such as molecular biology tools (molecular cloning, real time qPCR), cell culture (retro/lentivirus work), B cell phenotyping and functional assays (e.g multicolor flow cytometry), tissue analysis (histology and confocal microscopy), as well as studies of the immune response in animals. Previous experience of work with both human and mouse B cells is a requirement.
